- New physics from scratch for players
- New ball physics
- More responsive players
- More difficult AI
- AI adjusts tactics more frequently throughout the match
- Active defending 2.0 (defending is still more manual than the base game but your defenders now position themselves better)
- Realistic density on the field (more compactness, but the game stretches according to the plays/tactics)
- Collision detection and foul system updated
- The most responsive dribbling so far
- Updated passing
- Updated shooting
- New shooting animations
- New juggling and close control animations
- More powerful long range shots
- Goalkeepers are stronger to balance out the more powerful shooting
- Goalkeepers make more "sweeper keeper" type plays
- Jumping over tackles is possible again
- Now possible to dribble between 2 players without losing the ball (depends on player attributes)
- More penalties and cards
