I have created a new gameplay for PES 2021 to address many issues related to scripting, with a focus on giving players the freedom to play as they want. Below are some examples of the issues addressed by this gameplay:
Control: heavy, unresponsive, delay button input.
Cursor change: totally messed up, unable to switch to the desired player.
Through pass: excessive power, too far from the intended recipient.
Player movement: player run away from the ball, or run with the ball towards opponents, or suddenly move in an unexpected direction while receiving a pass...

Spoiler: Some personal thoughts about gameplay:
My definition of scripting is interference in control and player movement, where you can't properly control the player on the field, and the player moves without input or in a different direction than intended.
I don't think buffing the AI is scripting; it is a normal feature in many games on the market. As the difficulty level increases, the AI receives a greater buff.
I believe soccer should be a dynamic and ever-changing game; therefore, features such as stat buffs and team spirit buffs should remain to fill up the gap between strong team and weak team. Otherwise, it would become a monotonous attribute contest where the result is predictable before the match even starts.
Important note:
This GP is developed based on the original exe, so it's recommended to use the same setup when you try it. When using together with other GP, there might be conflict and bugs...
Starting from version 3.0, I will only release the cpk file to hopefully simplify things for everyone.
