1. Download the respective stadium files from the link below
2. Delete the Helios folder in the AddOn folder if you have one.
3. Copy the AddOn folder in the respective stadium folders to your Sider folder
4. Configure your addon_config.txt file and put "1 = Helios" on top or above Turf. Also, disable any other light files in AddOn if you have one.
Description: As the name implies, this mod corrects the sun position of stadiums with inaccurate sun position, which you might have noticed with most older stadiums having almost the same sun direction (not all). Also this mod tries to enhance the lights during different times of the day and improves skies.
Why did I create this mod? Just for fun and because I am a bit of a perfection freak, seeing almost the same inaccurate sun direction took away the uniqueness of many stadiums. Plus, this can be a base for stadium makers for sunlight.
Things I have done:
1. Corrected the sun position of the base light files
2. Added the same sun position settings in fog files and corrected some shadow intensity (if there is any fog file for that stadium)
3. Tweaked some other values to touch up sunlight, skies, and clouds
What do I need help with?
Feedback !! Almost all stadium light files I will add have correct latitude, longitude, and north angle values, but I changed some to get the most realistic settings. But if you find any incorrect daylight or feel shadows are quite intense where players with black kits are not visible, please let me know.
How frequently will I add more corrected lights?
As per your feedback and my Master League adventure. I have no time free these days due to my job and all, so I cannot give more time to modding, and I want to enjoy playing in my free time instead. You might have seen how abandoned the Fans Server feels at the moment. So, if I come across a stadium with inaccurate lighting while playing, I will fix that. Otherwise, if you guys let me know what light needs fixing, I can fix it. It would be better to give actual day images of the respective stadiums for reference.
